Wildfire, snow load, and drought are conditions of ownership in the Roaring Fork Valley, not surprises. Because Premier already cares for the home, the land, and the roof, mitigation becomes part of the same schedule: assessed each season, built by our own crews, and documented so the work is never a mystery to an adjuster, a lender, or a new owner.
Premier also operates a wildfire prevention venture that brings mapping and planning tools to this work, so a mitigation plan starts from the parcel and its surroundings rather than a clipboard.
What the work includes
Assessment and plan
A walk of the property and its zones, the vegetation and structure conditions that matter, and a written plan with priorities and seasons.
Defensible space
Thinning, limbing, fuel breaks, and grading around the home and outbuildings, built and maintained by LandWorks crews with the right equipment.
Roof and structure hardening
Roofing systems built for snow load and current fire codes, ember-resistant vents and details, and the replacement of aging cedar shake.
Documentation
Photographs, dates, and a record of the work for insurance, HOA, and jurisdiction requirements, kept current as part of ongoing estate care.
